Types of Scholarship:
ACCESS - Assistance for the Completion of College Education for Superior Student ACCESS is a four-year program for incoming freshmen, or incoming sophomore college students. Since 1995, more than 500 scholarships have been granted to poor and academically qualified students from selected level III- and II- accredited schools and state universities all over the country. Fifty (50) slots are awarded every year to those who are taking up Business courses.
Benefits: 100% tuition fee subsidy, semestral allowance
ETP - Excellence in Teaching Program
In partnership with the Pi Lambda Theta-Philippine Area Chapter, an honor society of women educators which aims to recognize individuals of superior scholastic achievement and high potential for professional leadership, the ETP is a two-year scholarship program for incoming third year elementary or secondary education students majoring in Science, English or Math.
Under this program, more than 100 scholarships have been awarded to poor and academically qualified students coming from priority areas identified by the government among the poorest in the country. Fifteen (15) new ETP scholars are selected every year.
Benefits: Fixed semestral subsidy
GRACE - Grants in Aid of College Education
In recognition of the impact of adverse socio-economic conditions in the country, the Foundation extends a special educational assistance package to qualified graduating students in selected Level II- or III- accredited schools all over the country. The educational assistance program is specifically targeted at helping academically qualified and financially deserving college students complete their education.
Started in 1999, the Foundation has granted almost 200 scholarships under this program, and at least twenty (20) slots are added every year.
Benefits: Fixed semestral subsidy
Qualifications
In order to qualify, applicants to these educational assistance programs must:
•Have an average of at least 85% during the previous school term;
•Have a combined annual family gross income of not more than P 200,000, as certified by the latest Statement of Income Tax Return;
•Enrolled in one of the Foundation’s partner institutions;
•Have good conduct records;
•Not be a recipient of any major scholarship;
•Be physically fit as certified by a qualified doctor.

Duration of Panasonic Scholarship
Panasonic Scholarship will be provided for max. three (3) years program, including max. one (1) year of Japanese language training and study as a research student and max. two (2) years for master's course;
a) Year One - Enrollment as a research student at a university in Japan and Japanese language training.
b) Year Two & Three - Register and complete a master's course in Japan.
The entire period shall not exceed three years in any circumstances. The scholarship will be terminated if a scholarship recipient fails to gain admission to master's course in Japan within one year after arrival in Japan (by March, 2009.)

Contents of Panasonic Scholarship
a) Research Student at Graduate School (for max. one year)
1) Monthly Scholarship : ¥150,000 per month
2) Arrival Allowance : Max. ¥200,000 (or equivalent amounts to local currency) will be paid. (The payment system depends on each country and area.)
3) Tuition Fee Assistance : Max. ¥250,000 will be paid in each semester. Note: The actual amount will be paid in case the tuition fee is less than ¥500,000 per year.
b) Master's Course at Graduate School (for max. two years)
1) Monthly Scholarship : ¥180,000 per month
2) Matriculation Fee Assistance: Max. ¥200,000 will be paid in the first year of master's course.
3) Tuition Fee Assistance : Max. ¥250,000 will be paid in each semester.
Note: (i) The actual amount of matriculation fee will be paid to the student whose fee is less than the above amount. (ii) The actual amount will be paid in case the tuition fee is less than ¥500,000 per year.
